Who is CORRINA?
CORRINA is the Research and Development department of planwind (Salzburg) and Tussen Ruimte (Rotterdam). Out of a decade of collaborations emerged the wish to consolidate and share the body of knowledge that we have co build in our practice and academic work.
Team
Corrina team-members build on their extended professional, inter- and transdisciplinary experience in research and consultancy projects with gender-dimensions and advancing spatial+gender-justice. Corrina acts as either as contractor, partner or as team-leader and project manager , in cooperation with grass-root activists and NGOs, business partners, public authorities, housing associations, Universities and research institutes
International comparison and networking has been a guiding principle of our dailywork.
Wankiewicz
Geographer, specialized in inclusion, diversity, and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities to be anchored and implemented in urban and regional planning. She coordinated international and regional project teams for public, private and civil society clients. Gender equality in times of demographic change is always addressed with priority.
Tummers
Building engineer, with many years of experience in low impact housing engineering. Teaching and applying / positioning gender in sustainable urban development and planning at various European universities. Research in the area of the EU Green Deal and European Citizens’ Initiatives for Housing as well as Energy Cooperatives (Rescoops).
